Here are two views of the Penthouse

Unfortunately I have yet to figure out how to show the view out of the picture window and balcony. The view encompasses 270 degrees and takes three photographs butted together. To do it justice at your end you need a large screen projector and a lot of patience while downloading a ridiculously enormous file! With a lot of imagination, and remembering that the top of Mauna Kea on the left is over 40 miles away, and the little lump to the right is Mauna Loa and it is 100 miles away and both are approaching 14,000 feet in altitude here is a picture of one third of the dramatic view

For those with a 1024 X 768 display, you can look at two thirds of the view, Hualalai mountain at 8,000 feet but only 25 miles away and the Pacific Ocean on the right, somewhat obscured by the plume from the volcano. The picture is a composite of two photographs.
