'Anaeho'omalu Bay

This beach is well maintained by the Royal Waikoloan Hotel but has it's own access at the south end. Surrounded by palm trees, the sand is nice and it has excellent facilities. You can rent sailboards, a sailboat or other water gear and play in the water or explore the ancient fishponds. In winter, bring your binoculars to watch for whales. This beach is comfortable for young and old.

Located about 24 miles north of Kona on Highway 19 at the Waikoloa sign, turn left, continue to the stop sign at Kings shops and turn left continue for about 0.3 miles to end, there is a short walk to the beach.
