The following image is a composite of three exposures of a tire. The Sidewall, the Tread and the other Sidewall.

The purpose of the three simultaneous images was to increase the inspection rate of steel belted radials. In this image one can see the belt edges, their concentricity, uniformity and continuity as well as the bead area which is also important to the integrity of the tire.
